Talk Like a Pirate Day?

The judges will accept that.

Awww, so cute! He has his daddy's hair! LOL

In a sense, yes. And it hurts ;)

Good times. I have always been a curmudgeon about Father's Day (not that this distinguishes it much from other holidays) but I admit I was pleased by the cooing and congratulations that the Safeway checker gave me when I took Eli on a 7am milk run.

My retirement plan is for him to invest in Microsoft, Ebay, and Google, then use the proceeds to support my lavish lifestyle.

Oh, first he has to invent a time machine, forgot to mention that part.

That's why, effective today, we are switching bedtime reading from "Pajama Time", "Is Your Mama A Llama?" and "Fox in Socks" to the Feynman lectures on physics. At 12 months we'll move on to Modern Quantum Field Theory. I can see no obvious flaw in this plan.

My localized claim to fatherhood fame is that both my son and my daughter have commented on various threads in Obsidian Wings.

How many other dads here can say that?

How many other dads here can say that?

That depends. Does "Dad, when are you going to get off the computer?" count?

My son likes to bang the keyboard when I'm trying to post something. Don't know if that counts, but he probably made more sense than I usually do.

Wow! What a cutie! Must have gotten it from his Mom -- except, of course, for the hair. :-P

Damn, this is going to be an ongoing thing now isn't it!

Ugh Jr. says "WHEEEEEE!!"

That he does

By "commented" I meant "written and posted comments that actually appeared in Obsidian Wings threads."

But I bet you knew that already.
