Major Andrew J. Olmsted Scholarship Fund

We received this email from Andy Olmsted's father, and I wanted to pass it along to everyone here:

We have finally gotten a chance to start the Major Andrew J. Olmsted Scholarship Fund at St. John's High School. The fund should be activated by this Friday, September 4th. . . .

Anyone wishing to donate to the fund should make out the check to St. John's High School, with a note in the memo line that it is for the Maj. Andrew J. Olmsted Sch. Fund. The check should be mailed to St. John's High School, 378 Main Street, Shrewbury, MA 01545. They should be mailed to: Attn: Mr. John J. Ermilio.

this is excellent.

a very, very minor point -- I believe the town is Shrewsbury, note the 's' in the middle.

Not sure how to best offer this to Andy's father, but if he would like someone to design and host a web site to provide information and take donations for the fund, I would be happy to have my company do the work for free.

something like what enderwiggin proposes would be very helpful.

some of us find it much easier to hit the paypal button than to write a check.

if obwi sponsored a site with a button, i think the funds would roll a lot faster.

also, would you folks think about putting a link to this post up in the upper-right corner of the page, along with the other links for andrew?

that way it will be easy for people to find the address after this post slides off the front page.
