We just haven't had enough LOLCats around here lately. Herewith, an attempt to rectify that deficiency.
Also: remember a few days ago, when I asked when we'd see Hillary-cleavage-style stories, only about men? Stories like this?
"Presidential candidates normally take care with their underwear. Get it right and the pride of a candidate's manhood will remain neatly centered, visible, if at all, as a discreet, masculine bulge; get it wrong and his manly appointments will fall into one of his pants legs, giving him a peculiar, lopsided appearance.Somebody get the word to Mitt Romney."
If you want to see the occasion for just such a story, only with Dick Cheney rather than Mitt Romney, and if you have a very strong stomach and are in a place where involuntary screams of horror and revulsion will not pose difficulties, and if, moreover, you are good at forgetting things you wish you had never seen, click here.
Don't click otherwise. You have been warned. (h/t LGM.)
Re - the Dick Cheney photo. Back when he was still a fan of the VP, Andrew Sullivan posted the photo approvingly.

I don't understand the Luke one, assuming it's funny.

I don't understand the Luke one either. But the first one's great.

Ever talk into a fan?

Cheney's feelin' frisky!

See, I never have talked into a fan, though I gather, from the comment site at I Can Has Cheezburger? that that was the joke. I thought it was funny because perhaps the fan was supposed to be Darth Vader, which seemed ludicrous to me. But what do I know?

See, I never have talked into a fan
What?!!? All that fence-climbing and no fan-talking? Huh. ;-)

Great pics :). Thanks for sharing. At any rate, I wanted to tell you, I am trying to get a conservative digg alternative going called GOP Hub (GOPHub.com). Anything you can do to help spread the word would be awesome. Plus feel free to submit any articles you write here on your blog :). Take care and have a great week!

Credit where credit is due, that appears to be some serious lumber.
Now, can we impeach him and then send him to jail?
Thanks -

See, I never have talked into a fan
P.S. -- hilzoy, without further ado, go immediately and talk into a fan. Seriously. If there are any little kids around, invite them along.
It's a lot of fun.
Thanks -

I saw the Cheney photo on another site. I swear to you, my computer froze; I had to reboot to get the pic off my screen.

John Cole on RedState. Clicking through made me sad.

The "Luke, I am your father" gag done while speaking into a fan was notably done in Chris Farley's movie Tommy Boy. (Which, I hasten to add, I have not seen, but I remember it being in every trailer, so I assume it's the only funny bit.) That's quite likely where this particular lolcat comes from.

russell: "serious lumber"
Lumber?
Hence (guessing here) "woody?"
Cheney - the original Dick joke.
(No wait, that was Nixon).
OT: Just over 13K to the 3 millionth ObWi visitor.
Will there be a prize?

Ah, thanks for the Cole link, rilkefan. The Oh, So Reasonable Moe Lane strikes again, linking approvingly to psycopathic freakshow Ace. How reasonable!

No. No. No.
They didn't get that that was satire?
Plus, I do so love all those posts Moe links to: Don't Forget, They Hate the Troops, or this:
Darn. They have found us out. I am so busted.

"They didn't get that that was satire?"
Too bad John got that wrong.
The imaginary stuff about leftists and liberals, though, is, ah, evidence of a gap in mutual understanding, shall we say.

Reading that post of Moe's made me wonder what he'd make of this, these days.

A little late to this one, but I always preferred "I am Iron Man" when talking into a fan. (Lone headbanger, I guess.)

Guys, that is Cheney's colostomy device.
