And yeah, this ad will go down in political history with the "daisy" ad and a variety of others. It is by turns absolutely hilarious and deeply insulting. I can't imagine who they thought this would actually convince.
Catsy is correct that the ad is "absolutely hilarious and deeply insulting".
But it will be effective in convincing/scaring those who might not otherwise make it to the polls but who believe Kerry/Edwards, wolves, terrorists, and Canadian pharmaceuticals, etc are a vaguely conflated, connected set of facts. Plus it might sway some undecideds who only trust gummint when it scares the crap out of them.
Always an interesting group of people.
Let's not forget some of the rancher folks out here in the West, too, who figure real wolves were wiped out once and now we're going to have to do it again.
The ad says: Packs of wolves will eat you. Like the terrorists want to blow you up. Both are enabled by Kerry/Edwards, in fact, liberals in general seem to like wolves and terrorists, who kill Americans and their livestock. Wolves, terrorists, liberals like me --all together now.
The ad is a purposeful attempt to say Kerry/Edwards threaten the lives of the American people. As if Kerry/Edwards would stand by and let the American people be assassinated.
Odd thing, though. As a Kerry/Edwards supporter and a liberal who supports the reintroduction of wolves into some parts of the West, but who hates terrorists, now I feel threatened by a slightly different set of wolf-like folks who live by their gut instincts only.
Actual fact-checking of the ad is here. The website of Wolfpacks for Truth is here

Glad you liked it ;) For some reason, what got me was the unexpected appearance of Pooh.

And with this ad, BC04 jumps the shark.

Pooh is appropriate, since our president is a Bush of Little Brain.

Heck of a way to start the next four years.
