OK, so you really should read Fafnir every chance you get,* but today he's outdone himself. Here's just a snippet:
FAFNIR: Now Mr Prospective Juror are you familiar with the defendant in this case?
IRAQI: Hmmm, what did you say his name was?
GIBLETS: Saddam Hussein.
IRAQI: I have heard of him now and then, in the Baghdad papers, over the last thirty years or so... but really, I don't pay that much attention.
FAF.: And how much do you know about the case?
IRAQI: I've heard some things about "war crimes" and "mass graves" and "the mass slaughter of thousands of innocents" but really, I'd rather wait until I see the official facts at trial and let them speak for themselves.
FAF.: Wow! You sound perfect!
GIBS.: I like that you don't hold war crimes against people.
IRAQI: It's part of my giving nature.
FAF.: Waaaaait a second. Are you wearin a fake mustache on top of a real mustache?
*Which is why he's on our blogroll, I suspect.
As I recall, he was on my blogroll list because I tried to outsurreal him once... and he beat me like a red-headed stepchild, and without raising a sweat. Then von got addicted. Then we became the first (and as far as I know, the only) members of the Pax Gibletsia, and well, from there it just snowballed.

I tried to outsurreal him once
While I'm sure he didn't beat you like a red-headed stepchild (blonde, perhaps) I've see similar attempts in his comments section from time to time...it's like watching Zeus toy with a spider...cruelly lopsided test of powers, yet somehow compelling...

Now that I rule this blog it is time for me to expand. Today, Fafblog, tomorrow, the blogosphere! I declare myself to have annexed Tacitus, Atrios, ObsidianWings, and Talking Points Memo. Dance for Giblets, Talking Points Memo! Your incisive political commentary does not amuse him! DANCE DANCE DANCE!

Ach. If I stare at fafblog for more than 5 minutes the rest of the universe looks oddly blue for the entire day.
