If you find CSpan intolerably biased, you might be a wingnut.

If the personal dictionary of your word processing software includes obscene variations of the names of the opposing political party and leaders... you might be a wingnut.

If you call anyone who posts a comment disagreeing with your views a "troll"...you might be a wingnut.

If Bush and Kerry are both so far away from you on the spectrum that they're indistinguishable, you might be a wingnut.

You might be a wingnut if...

You have Toilet Paper in the design of any national flag.

You know the words to the Internationale and at least two Communist National Anthems.

You violated Godwin's Law in a discussion on grazing fees on federal land.

Kofi Annan tells you to cool it on the International Law c**p.

You play D&D and have tried assigning politicians alignments.

If the entire membership of Obsidian Wings are so far away from you on the spectrum that they're politically indistinguishable, you might be a wingnut.

If you consider Brit Hume to be a right-winger or you consider Mort Kondrake to be a raging left-winger, you might be a wingnut.

Extra credit if you're so far left that you consider Stephanopoulus to be a moderate, you might be a wingnut, or if you're so far right that you consider Pat Buchanan to be a reasonable libertarian, you might be a wingnut.

If you feel you can rationally complete any of the following sentences without relying on generalizations, you might be a wingnut...

Muslims are all...
Jews are all...
Christians are all...

If you agree with everything Ed Gillespie or Terry McAuliffe say....you might be a wingnut.

...monotheists?

"If you make a habit of telling people what they're thinking... you might be a wingnut. True, you might be a telepath, but in that case, why aren't you rich?"

I thought telepathic implants to read the thoughts of the Liberal hive-mind came standard to all members of the VRWC?

Some of the Wingnuts also seem to have tachyon particle collectors (for the "if liberals win the 2004, they will..." arguments) and alternate-dimension viewers ("if Al Gore had become president, he would have..").

You're not suggesting they just make this stuff up?

"You know the words to the Internationale..

"You play D&D and have tried assigning politicians alignments."

Err...guilty. Well, the alignments and the Internationale, anyway

Is the trinity a concept of monotheism, James?

I guess it is...but thanks for finding the exception I couldn't...
;)

"You play D&D and have tried assigning politicians alignments."

Well. . not necessarily. But if you assigned any of them Lawful Good or Chaotic Evil, you are definitely a wingnut.

If your SO has ever threatened to burn the words "No Politics at the Dinner Table!" into the dining room wall... you may be a wingnut.

If your SO has followed through on this threat... you probably are a wingnut.

If this was a primary reason for your subsequent breakup... umm, that'd be actually fairly lame of you.

;)

I'd have thought Dems were closer to Chaotic Good, meself. And Ashcroft is on the Lawful Neutral/Lawful Evil cusp.
