Before you know it, the blogroll will be bigger than what anyone could possibly read on a constant basis. :)

Happens to all of us.

Then I'll always have something new to read then, eh? :)

I wish the bloggers would pay attention to what they write as headlines and what they say in the first 100 words. I use Bloglines to pick up the RSS feeds, and then scan the results by simply viewing the headline and looking for a hook in the first few sentences. At least that way I can more quickly tell if the post is of interest to me. I'm catching about 36 blogs via Bloglines but don't read anywhere near all of them; somewhat like scanning a newspaper and going in depth only when something piques my interest.

Hmm. Interesting. So, how are we doing with that?

I would give ObWi an 'A'. Your posts are brief, to the point, and easy to read. Or, said another way, it's easy to determine if a particular post is of interest. The headline is usually catchy, and enough of the post comes through on the RSS feed to get a sense of what it's about, without having to actually hit your blog.

If you're not using an aggregator, Bloglines is free, and worth checking out to see how you look coming through the tool. For the reader, it sure makes managing the volume a lot easier.
