...while Fables of the Reconstruction has a link up to Bally's Pain in the Butt (extremely mild) BDSM workout program (yes, kids, you too can combine alternative sexuality and improved cardiovascular activity!*), the Quicktime video won't load properly on my site - making me actually interested now in seeing said video. Which is kind of funny when you think of it, given that Bally's would undoubtedly have not made anything truly salacious available; for that matter, entire oceans of that sort of free porn are just a couple of, ahem, keystrokes away.
There's some sort of psychological truth behind all of this, I'm sure. With my luck, it's probably an embarrassing one.

*Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. If leather, chains, collars and piercings (although thanks to the Club for Growth, I now get to wonder whether Dean has any) bothered me, I wouldn't be a member of the SCA.
Not that this has anything to do with your post, but geez Moe, are you physically incapable of posting something without at least one asterisk in it? You've even got von doing it now.

No, but it's a bit of a strain. :)

You just wait until one or the other of them resigns from blogging here. When they leave, they'll rip out the 8/* key from all their keyboards. :>

I must be tired: it took me a minute to figure that one out.

Tell me about it.*

*And you're right to think I stole it from Moe. It was the fifth or sixth time I posted on Tacitus.org, and I just couldn't restrain myself.

(Just like I stole the "highlighting names" bit from Meteor Blades {who mostly hangs out at Kos now}.)

I've been contemplating nicking that one myself--it makes it a lot easier to spot what you're looking for in a free-for-all.

Yup, Catsy, that's why I took it. Nothing's worse than having fifteen seconds to scroll 200 comments to determine that someone's talkin' trash about about you.
Just make sure credit goes where it's due -- far as I can tell, we're all stealing it from that certain lefty firebrand, which should make you proud.

Moe-
You're in SCA??? Jesus, talk about one degree of separation. You've probably pummelled my friends with wooden swords and they've probably savored the bruises. Ahem, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I can't wait to see the ads for cardio strip-tease, which my Bally's offers.

The video clip is just their TV commercial about the workout, which seems to be strongly focused on glutes and abs. The narrator is dressed in what appears to be a "Dominatrix Halloween costume" and carrying a buggy whip, but the jump cuts are so quick that you can't really tell. They spend more time focused on "1-800-FITNESS" emblazoned on a nicely-shaped butt... which is understandable, given that it's a commercial.
You can see more (and better) butt-shaking on BET, though.

I think it's a dressage whip. The fall is shorter.

Could well be -- I only watched the clip twice, and you don't get a very good look at whatever it is she's carrying. I'm pretty sure that the whipcracks got Foleyed in, though.
