At any rate, I've noticed that Calpundit more or less owns our referrer logs today, thanks to the link he threw our way in this post. By the way, Kevin, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well; hope you feel better.
So. What's the proper response to somebody enabling you to get a bunch o'traffic? A nice thank-you? Reciprocal linkage? A promise to pass up on the next X number of cheap shots? Free beer?
Depends on the person, I think. Kevin's a purist; he'll appreciate the thank-you.

I believe the word you are looking for might be 'nettiquette'. I try to send thank you e-mails, though I'm lax at noticing when someone has linked to me unless it generates oodles of traffic.
