LOL! John King on CNN just tried to create a scenario where McCain wins at this point. CA, OR, and WA will put Obama over the top. He hypothetically gave every other state to McCain, and it was evident he didn't do the math in advance. With then entire map red and McCain still a loser, he might as well have added, "Please don't go to bed. I need this job." The horse race narrative has just been put down.

Steve Schmidt has many excuses.

GO BUCKS!!!!!

Obama lost Lawrence Co 45/55. Considering Obama lost to HRC 20/80, I'm shocked. Graham Vesey worked his hiney off organizing people around here and the fact Columbus didn't have to make up all that much of a difference for this southern-most Ohio county is pretty much all his fault.

The stock market had a 300 point gain today, in spite of clear indications that this recession is a long way from the bottom. It will undoubtedly fall tomorrow, and will be blamed on Obama's election.

Yey! Virginia!

Funniest Corner post ever:

Readers Believe [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

That Derbyshire voting for McCain could be a gamechanger.

I so want their drugs.

Elsewhere on the Derbyshire prediction front: Al Gore will be the Democratic nominee. It's "inevitable."

These guys are just keyed into contemporary society.

It's uncanny.

(Apologies if I've been posting too much here tonight, btw. But, it's the election. And I'm kinda lonely.)

OBAMA IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT! OBAMA IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT! OBAMA IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT! OBAMA IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT! OBAMA IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT!

Congrats! Way past my bedtime, but I had to see it happen ;)
