Let's just cut through all the mini-scandals and get right to "Karlgate," shall we?
I mean, we could spend years debating each of the following (and note the links are just overviews, not the definitive analysis on each):
Medi-gate
Hunting-gate (which is really Energy-gate, when you get right down to it).
Enviro-gate
WMD-gate
Plame-gate
Enron-et al.-gate
But what's the point? Most of these intersect one way or the other through one office (or so the CW would have us believe) and we KNOW none of these are GWB's fault...nothing is. So let's just get Rove up before a Congressional hearing and be done with it.
A real wish list for many of us. Where oh where are the independent investigations when you need them? But just know if Cheney has sex with a consenting adult all hell might break loose.

I'm still waiting for a scandal to do with something/where/one called Gate. Seeing what the unimaginative called that one would make my day.

It's not all that funny, James: I don't think that it's unreasonable to insist on a couple of simple rules be enforced for this site, especially since a) they're designed to try to keep the incivility down to a dull roar and b) you'll notice that I'm paying for this site out of my own pocket.
