Get a reverse osmois filter, Moe. I have one, not because of lead, but because water from my well tastes like a nosebleed unfiltered. You can hear a clanking noise in the pipes, the iron is so high. Best hundred and fifty bucks I ever spent, even if installing it was a huge pain.

Now, when I lived down the road in Batavia (IL), we used to get cards annually from the EPA telling us that the raduim content of the water was above the legal recommendation. I used to tell people we had hot and hotter running water.

That's it. I Brita everything from now on. Twice. Then administer 30,000 volts. It's the only way to be sure.

Apart from taking off and nuking the site from orbit, yeah.

When my fiancee and I were in Phoenix, we had what was possibly some of the worst drinking water in the nation. Even Brita couldn't make that stuff taste clean.
