Massachusetts' Supreme Judicial Court has finally decided their gay marriage case. AP story here. The headline is somewhat misleading; they leave the remedy to the legislature with a 180 day deadline, much like the Baker court in Vermont.
This is probably bad for Dean's campaign. I don't care. It's the right thing to do, and I'm proud of my state.

The People's Republic is just Cambridge, I think (the city of over 100,000 where Nader actually beat Bush. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that also happened in some other college towns.)

Where's my blue!! Oh, and a modest suggestion. The recent guest blogger stint at Tacitus was highlighted by the occasional, heaven forfend, non-political thread. Music, etc. Yglesias had one up yesterday, and it shouldn't come as a surprise that he picked up one of his highest comment counts ever. Because it's fun. Because it's a brief respite from disputation. Because I bet Vinteuil and I could agree about something.
